Books & Babies Storytime

Develop baby's pre-literacy skills as well as physical, social, and mental development. This storytime introduces a love for books, song, movement, rhythm and rhyme. Improve motor, sensory and social skills during free play time, which also provides an opportunity for both babies and parents to socialize. Books & Babies is also about parents as you bond and learn with baby as well as meet other parents in the community.
This program is for babies up to 24 months old, with a parent or caregiver, and lasts 20-30 minutes.

Spring Break Movie: The NeverEnding Story

Join us for a special showing of The NeverEnding Story (rated PG) in our new meeting room with double screens! Bring a blanket, snacks, and settle in for the show. This program is for all ages and no registration is required.
In The NeverEnding Story, a bullied boy escapes into a book store and is drawn into a storybook fantasy in which a wonderland is endangered and needs to be saved from destruction.

Beadweaving

For thousands of years, people from cultures around the world have created beautiful woven beadwork. Led by artist Toni Carlucci, this workshop will teach you how to make your own work of art by weaving with beads. Once you start, you won't want to stop! For ages 7 - 14. No registration required, but space is limited please arrive early to obtain a ticket.

Paddington Goes to Wonderland

Join us for a wonderful storytime filled with one of our favorite friends, Paddington! He's going to kick off our awesome Alice in Wonderland week with a visit to ... Wonderland! We'll read books, make Wonderland inspired crafts, and you'll even get to meet Paddington! Get ready for a wonderful time!

All ages are welcome. Registration is not required, but space is limited. Please arrive early to secure your spot.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a martial art know as the gentle art, yet one of the most powerful systems available. An instructor from the World Jiu-Jitsu Academy will demonstrate some basic moves and discuss the principle behind them. Participants will learn the execution of the moves as well as information on the practical application of the technique. Family program for grades 5 through adult. No registration required.
