Books & Babies for Pre-walkers

Develop baby's pre-literacy skills as well as physical, social, and mental development. This storytime introduces a love for books, song, movement, rhythm and rhyme. Improve motor, sensory and social skills during free play time, which also provides an opportunity for both babies and parents to socialize. Books & Babies is also about parents as you bond and learn with baby as well as meet other parents in the community. This program is for babies up to 18 months old, with a parent or caregiver, and lasts 20-30 minutes. No registration required.

Paws to Read

For grades kindergarten and up. Paws to Read gives patrons of all ages an opportunity to read and relax with a certified therapy dog while improving literacy skills. Participants sign up at the door for 15-minute sessions. Advance registration is not required.

Tween STEAM Slime Lab

Galaxy, fluffy, crunchy, butter, chalkboard…if you know what all of these terms have in common, then join us for some amazing ooey-gooey polymer science in our TWEEN slime lab! We will be concocting some crazy slime recipes that you will get to take home!
This program is for 4th-7th graders. Space in this program is limited. Arrive early to secure your spot. Tickets will be handed out beginning 30 minutes prior to the program.
