Gardening With the Masters: Upper Etowah River & Watershed

The Upper Etowah River runs through the Northwest corner of Forsyth County – just where the Hampton Park Library Branch is located. Come hear Diane Minick, past president of the Upper Etowah River Alliance, describe the unique ecology of this river, and how we can protect and enjoy it.

Afterward, tour the Pollinator Garden at the library entrance, which was funded by the Alliance and established by Forsyth County Master Gardener Extension Volunteers to help protect the river’s watershed. Feel free to bring a sack lunch and stay to eat and visit with Master Gardener volunteers.
