One-Hit Wonders Summer Storytime

Reading ROCKS!! Summer storytimes are here. Come read, dance and sing at the library! These 30 minute programs introduce age-appropriate books and stories and also include music, puppet shows, and movement.

This program is suggested for children ages 2-5, with a caregiver. Advance registration is not required.

Books & Babies for Pre-walkers

Develop baby's pre-literacy skills as well as physical, social, and mental development. This storytime introduces a love for books, song, movement, rhythm and rhyme. Improve motor, sensory and social skills during free play time, which also provides an opportunity for both babies and parents to socialize. Books & Babies is also about parents as you bond and learn with baby as well as meet other parents in the community. This program is for babies up to 18 months old, with a parent or caregiver, and lasts 20-30 minutes. No registration required.

Rockin' Readers Summer Storytime

Reading ROCKS!! Summer storytimes are here. These 30 minute programs are designed to promote language, listening, and reading skills by offering vocabulary development, experiences with a variety of literature, and participation in language-related activities. These programs will feature slightly longer books, music, puppet shows, and movement. We'll focus on a different theme each week.

This program is suggested for children ages 4-8, with a caregiver. Advance registration is not required.

Summer STEAM Team - Catch the Wave – Sound!

Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math...your child can get it all at the library this summer! Join us for a very interactive experience each week where learning and fun collide!

Lasting 45-60 minutes, these programs are ideal for budding scientists who want to try some experiments of their own.

This program is for rising 3rd-5th graders.

Please note: Space in this program is limited. Arrive early to secure your spot. Tickets will be given out 30 minutes prior to the program.

The Challenged: A Book Club for Parents to Discuss Targeted Kids’ Books

Parents of elementary and middle grade children are invited to participate in The Challenged Book Club. Book club participants will read titles that have been challenged. This week, we will discuss The Adventures of Captain Underpants by Dav Pilkey.
