Fiber Arts and Friends

Fiber arts includes knitting, crocheting, sewing, needlepoint, and any other activity that uses fiber or fabric. Bring your current project or simply grab your needles, yarn, hook, spinning wheel, and patterns to join in the fiber arts fun.

Books & Babies for Pre-walkers

Develop baby's pre-literacy skills as well as physical, social, and mental development. This storytime introduces a love for books, song, movement, rhythm and rhyme. Improve motor, sensory and social skills during free play time, which also provides an opportunity for both babies and parents to socialize. Books & Babies is also about parents as you bond and learn with baby as well as meet other parents in the community. This program is for babies up to 18 months old, with a parent or caregiver, and lasts 20-30 minutes. No registration required.

Martial Arts Rocks! with World Champion Tae Kwon Do for 3-5 Year Olds

World Champion Tae Kwon Do masters will be on hand for some intro to martial arts classes for your kids. At 1:15, children aged 3-5 can enjoy a TKD basics class, including focus drills, a leadership demonstration and stranger danger talk. At 2:30, students in first through fifth grade can have a more in depth lesson that includes basic self-defense and character skills including confidence and respect! Please wear comfortable clothing! No registration required.

Mad Scientists' Club

Do you love it when things go fizz, boom, and pop?! Are you curious about the world and how things work? Do you enjoy messy experiments and scientific discovery?! If so, then the Mad Scientists' Club is for you! Each month we will take a hands-on, interactive approach to learning science! This month's theme: Slime

These programs are for elementary students, grades K-5 and will last approximately 45 minutes. Registration is not required, but space is limited.
