Meeting rooms and study rooms are available during the following times:
Public Meeting Rooms
Each branch has a public meeting room that can accommodate approximately 90 people or be divided in half for
smaller groups. A variety of audiovisual and projection equipment may be used.
**Due to the expansion and repurposing project at Sharon Forks Library beginning in October 2016, the Sharon Forks meeting room and study room will be unavailable for reservation until the project is completed.
The primary purpose of the meeting rooms is to provide appropriate space for library meetings and programs to
support and promote the library's mission. However, when the rooms are not being used for library programs or
activities, community groups and organizations may request the use of the rooms for non-commercial meetings or
programs. Any group's use of the meeting rooms does not constitute the library's endorsement of that group's
credentials, policies, or beliefs. Prior to requesting meeting room space, please review the
Meeting Room and Study Room Use Policy.
Groups may request the use of meeting room space up to two times per calendar month.
The library will begin accepting meeting room requests on the dates listed below for the following months:
- January 1 for February to May requests
- July 1 for August through October requests
- October 1 for November through January requests
Meeting rooms are not available for public use during June or July of each year.
Individuals or small groups up to four people can reserve study rooms at the Cumming Library, the Hampton Park Library,
and the Post Road Library. The Sharon Forks Library does not currently have study rooms for individual use. Prior to requesting use of one of the study rooms,
please review the Meeting Room and Study Room Use Policy.
Patrons may reserve a study room up to three days in advance by using the library website or by speaking with a library staff member in person or by phone.
Study Rooms are available only during open library hours, and close 15 minutes before the library closes.
Study Rooms may be used for up to two hours at a time.
Reservations will be released to waiting patrons if the reservation holder does not check in at the Ask Us Desk within 15 minutes of the reservation start time. Rooms that have been vacated for 15 minutes will be released to others who are waiting.
