Homeschool Discovery

Join us for a fun and educational homeschool meetup group! Homeschool parents, caregivers, and children are invited to share ideas and resources relating to our monthly theme. We will provide the space, resources, and create a few engaging activities to further reinforce what you are learning at home. You bring your ideas, projects, lesson plans, and more to share!

This month we will review the 6 simple machines, then look in-depth at the wedge, the pulley, and the lever. After students have a chance to share, we will experiment to learn more about each simple machine. Compound Machine challenges will also be presented. Please bring examples of simple machines from home- the trickier to identify, the better!
