Toddler Tales Storytime

These 30 minute programs introduce age-appropriate books and stories. We also incorporate action rhymes, songs, and movement to help support your toddler’s developing literacy in fun and exciting ways. This program is suggested for toddlers, ages 18-36 months, with a caregiver. Advance registration is not required for this program.

Books & Babies for Walkers

Develop baby's pre-literacy skills as well as physical, social, and mental development. This storytime introduces a love for books, song, movement, rhythm and rhyme. Improve motor, sensory and social skills during free play time, which also provides an opportunity for both babies and parents to socialize. Books & Babies is also about parents as you bond and learn with baby as well as meet other parents in the community.
This program is for babies up to 24 months old, with a parent or caregiver, and lasts 20-30 minutes.
No registration required.

These 30 minute programs are designed to promote language, listening, and pre-reading skills by offering vocabulary development, experiences with a variety of literature, and participation in language-related activities.  Hear stories, sing songs, and develop the skills needed to become a successful reader. This program is suggested for children, ages 3-5, with a caregiver. Advance registration is not required for this program.

STEAM Rollers Book Club

This book club is for children in grades 3 - 6. Join us to discuss the book and then do a STEAMy craft or activity related to the book. This month we will be discussing Ellie Engineer by Jackson Pearce.

Chatterbooks Book Club

This book club is for children in grades K - 2. Join us to read a story, discuss it, and then do a craft or activity related to the book. This month we will be discussing My Chickens Lay Eggs by Sherry Crelin AND Interrupting Chicken and the Elephant of Surprise by David Ezra Stein.

It is not necessary to read the book ahead of time. Registration is not required, but space is limited. Please arrive early for the program and obtain a ticket.
