Neighbors Reading with Neighbors

Forsyth Reads Together engages readers across the community in discussions, educational events, and author talks focused on a single book selection. Sharing a book with our neighbors makes it part of the public discourse and we can begin to understand one another better, as well as reflect on the ways that modern literature both represents and influences our society. 

An Evening with Shelby Van Pelt

Shelby Van Pelt, author of Remarkably Bright Creatures, will speak and sign books at the Forsyth Conference Center at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11, 2025. This event is intended for adults and admission is free, but advance registration is requested.

Forsyth Reads Together 2025 is sponsored by Forsyth County Public Library, FCPL Friends and Advocates, and the Forsyth County Arts Alliance at the Forsyth County Community Foundation, an affiliate of the North Georgia Community Foundation.
