Forsyth County Public Library operates by seeking funding from a number of sources, including the Forsyth County Government, the State of Georgia, grants, and patron contributions.
Financial donations from our community help the library provide more access to new materials, programs, and events. There are two ways to make a contribution to the library.
This fund is managed by the North Georgia Community Foundation and allows the library to pool your donation with gifts from others and use those funds to serve the community above and beyond the library’s regular budget.
Forsyth County Public Library participates in the Buy Your Own program at Amazon.com. When you add something to your personal library at home, a portion of that sale can be donated to the library at no cost to you.
Locate the item you wish to buy in the library catolog.
Click the “More Information” link. You’ll be taken to the book detail page.
Click the “If You Buy...” link. You’ll be taken to Amazon.com, where you can add the item to your shopping cart and follow the prompts to check out. Amazon will donate a small portion of the sale to Forsyth County Public Library.
FCPL, guided by its Library Affiliates policy, is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. There is no additional cost to you, and it provides a small benefit for the library. The library does not receive any personal or identifying information about you as a part of this process; Amazon.com's privacy policies are still in effect. See also FCPL's website privacy practices.
