Participants will be introduced to the ecosystem of wetlands and learn about their importance. Participants will also learn about human impact on wetlands while playing an interactive game.
For kids in grades 2–5. This program will require an event pass to attend. Event passes are free and available to participants on the day of the program. They will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis starting 30 minutes before the event start time. Please see a staff member at the Ask Us desk to receive your event pass.
About the Presenter: Forsyth County Department of Water and Sewer’s mission is to provide Forsyth County with the highest quality of water and sewer service through progressive leadership and environmental stewardship. The Department serves 200,000 Forsyth County residents and currently operates five wastewater plants and one water treatment plant. The Community Outreach Specialist will be leading the educational programming on behalf of the Department and is excited to partner with Forsyth County Public Libraries to share water conservation practices to protect this critical resources.
