In his book, Disillusioned: Five Families and the Unraveling of America's Suburbs, Benjamin Herold explores how hope, history, and racial denial collide in the suburbs and their schools through the stories of five American families. He tackles the questions of how we can repair America's divided communities and how we can build a future for all our children. Joining him in conversation will be Alia Pharr, a reporter for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution who covers Gwinnett County government.
Copies of Disillusioned will be available for purchase, and Mr. Herold will host a book signing after the event.
This program is for adults. No registration is required.
