Ken Sturdivant is a native Georgian and has fished the lakes, streams and rivers all over the southeast. He is a retired Vice President and branch manager of a major Atlanta Bank where he had worked for 28 years. Having been an avid angler since the age of 4, Ken Sturdivant has been teaching angling skills learned over 50 years. His method and manner of teaching and instructional skills, has helped propel him into a national limelight. In 1982, Ken developed the Southern Fishing Schools. Since that time, Ken has thousands of graduates of his schools and seminars. His events are often sold out. Ken is a full time guide on Lake Sidney Lanier. He has been guiding on the lake since 1978 and fishes the lake an average of 200 days a year. He has been fishing the lake since 1956.
