Learn how how crime scene information is gathered and used to solve crimes and try your hand at evidence collection after the presentation.
Dr. Nick Cardella of the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office will talk about the process of forensic dental identifications and bite mark evidence. The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Unit will discuss general crime scene processing, including evidence collection and sketching/diagramming the scene. This program is intended for adults and mature teens.
Dr. Cardella is a POST certified Instructor and has taught many classes on dental identification and bite mark evidence. Dr. Cardella is also a full-time Deputy Sheriff with the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office and has achieved the rank of Corporal.
