What is that octopus thinking? Dr. Nancy Dalman, department head of Biology for the University of North Georgia, will discuss the cognitive abilities of the octopus and other cephalopods.

About Dr. Nancy Dalman

Dr. Dalman's research interests are in the broad area of environmental toxicology and specifically the defenses organisms possess to protect them from toxic chemicals in the environment. Currently she is working with the killifish, a small salt marsh fish that is very tolerant of fluctuations in its physical environment.
