In 1912, the majority of Black residents were expelled from Forsyth County through fear and intimidation. Today, there are ongoing efforts by current residents to heal the wounds from this painful history. A panel of community leaders and experts will discuss the historical events in Forsyth County in 1912 and the progress made to acknowledge and heal those injustices.
